Over 12 catholic church both within Zaria Metropolis and outstations were affected by the April 18th post election crisis and recent Boko Haram bombings that have resulted in the loss of lives and and properties worth millions of Naira. The estimated cost of rebuilding and reconstructing the destroyed and burnt churches, priest residence and building of new bishop's house is one hundred and nine million Naira(109,000,000).
