Azhar, Church Agree On Placing Egypt's Interests in First Priority

Al-Azhar and Egyptian churches agreed to place Egypt's interests over any other political or partisan considerations.

The agreement came during a meeting between both sides representatives to a 50-member panel tasked with amending the constitution.

The two sides asserted their keenness on placing the solid Egyptian identity in the forefront of the constitution.
