Mattew Hassan Kukah,the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mattew Hassan Kukah said that Nigerians might be disappointed with the incoming Muhammadu Buhari led administration adding that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has no track record despite being called ‘’progressives’’.

Kukah who said this at the weekend, while delivering a convocation lecture at the Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, insisted that Nigerians were eagerly looking for a transformer which may not come in the mode of the Buhari’s Government.

My Economic Fortune Hasn't Increased Because of Cardinalship - Onaiyekan

The Catholic Archbishop of Abuja Cardinal John Onayekan said his elevation to cardinalship position has not, in anyway, made him a moneybag as the job is a divine call and not a money-making one.

Cardinal Onaiyekan spoke in Abuja yesterday at the second international Islamic arts/calligraphy exhibition organised by a Muslim group, Abuja Muslim Forum.

Some Nigerian clerics are not only cruising in private jets but also owning fleet of cars. But the Catholic Archbishop of Abuja said since he became the cardinal a few years ago, he had not witnessed any corresponding increase in his economic fortune because the post is purely a divine one.

According to him, "many people believe that as a cardinal I must be rich but I always tell them that I have not had any increment in economic fortune since becoming Cardinal".

He said: "Generally, when you are in the world and you are promoted, your salary increases. Well, in the church, it is not like that. My salary has not increased. My economic resources have remained the same. But my prestige has grown, ofcourse, and I now have more responsibility, more work."

Martins Restates Catholics' Opposition to Abortion

The Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, has restated the Catholic Church's opposition to abortion. In an address to the 2013 edition of the Annual Vigil in Reparation for Abortion held recently at the Lagos Archdiocesan Marian Shrine inside the grounds of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Maryland, Lagos, Archbishop Martins declared that the right of the human person to life comes from God and it is an inalienable right.

Martins noted that only God could determine when and how to end a life, and added that no one else has the right to take over this power from God.

The archbishop also contended that abortion remains a grave moral evil. He therefore challenged parents not to shirk their duties in this regard. "I consider it a serious duty for parents and those in charge of teaching young people to communicate to them the gravity of ending a human life for any reason whatsoever and the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death through abortion".

Also speaking at the event which was jointly organised by the Knights of Saint Mulumba (KSM) Lagos Metropolitan Council and the Marriage, Family and Human Life Unit of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, the Keynote Speaker, Rev. Fr. James Olubiyi emphasised that choosing to live chastely is a sign of faith in God's word and in the teaching of the Church.

He said only chaste living can permanently reduce the rising number of abortions and foster respect for the human dignity of all men, women, children and the unborn. In his valedictory speech, Mr. Egbert Imomoh, Deputy Metropolitan Grand Knight Lagos KSM, expressed the hope "that the experience which we have gathered from the talks and prayerful experience of this vigil will strengthen us all in the fight against abortion and the use of contraception."

Pray for Jonathan, Nigeria, Bala Urges CAN

Abuja — MINISTER of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, FCTA, Senator Bala Mohammed yesterday pleaded with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) not to relent in praying for President Goodluck Jonathan and the country.

Speaking yesterday in Abuja when he received the Executive members of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bauchi State Chapter that paid him a thank-you visit in his office, Senator Mohammed reiterated that President Goodluck Jonathan has done so much for Nigeria to promote the unity in diversity of the country and therefore need to be supported and encouraged especially with prayers.

The Minister emphasized that his appointment into the Federal Executive Council by President Jonathan without knowing him has deepened his belief in Nigeria.

He further urged them to continue to pray and support the Administration of Governor Isa Yuguda to enable him take Bauchi State to the next level.

Senator Mohammed remarked that there wasn't any need for the thank-you visit because all he has been doing was to carry out his responsibility as their son and representative.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Christian Association, Bauchi State Chapter, Rev. Lawi P. Pokti said that they were in the FCT to appreciate the Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed for what he has been doing for the Christian Community in Bauchi State since 2007.

According to the Chairman, President Goodluck Jonathan did not make any wrong choice in appointing Senator Bala Mohammed as FCT Minister and representative of Bauchi State at the Federal Executive Council.

Rev. Pokti specifically thanked the Minister for always identifying with the Christian Community in Bauchi State especially during the Bomb Blast that rocked the Living Faith Church, Bauchi sometime ago as well as their annual sponsorship to Jerusalem, Israel for Christian Pilgrimage.

He said, "If it were possible, we would have come with the entire Christians in Bauchi State to thank you for all you have been doing for us".

Those Who Use Church's Resources to Buy Private Jets Have Questions to Answer - Archbishop Ekpu

A retired Archbishop of Benin Catholic Archdiocese, His Grace, Archbishop Patrick Ebosele Ekpu, recently, marked 50th anniversary as a priest. Since his retirement three years ago, the Uromi born cleric has dedicated his life to praying for the Church. On October 26, 2013, His Grace will be marking his 82 birthday. Sunday Vanguard met him last weekend for this interview. He spoke on how he trained over 100 priests in school, the crisis in Benin Catholic Archdiocese, insecurity in some northern states, the acquisition of private jets by men of God, gay priesthood and some national issues. Excerpts:

How is life in retirement?

We thank God it has been very pleasant, restful as I will like it to be.

What motivated you into priesthood?

"It is God's grace. Only God calls and one responds and it is also His help and inspiration that keeps one going.

Are you not worried that the Catholic Church is losing its followers to the Pentecostal churches?

We lose some faint hearted members but the majority remains. If you look at the Catholic Church, say in Benin- City, you will see that as some people are dropping out, others are coming because the number of the parishes is increasing which is a sign that the Church is alive and growing stronger every day.

While you were the bishop, many new parishes came up. How did you achieve that?

"It was God at work, one tried to propagate the gospel and people listened and accepted it.

How do you view the crisis in the Catholic Church in Benin- City which has seen some persons calling for the installation of a Benin bishop?

I have always told them that they should pray for a good bishop no matter where he comes from because, to me, the Catholic Church is like a university. If you establish a university in a place, what the university needs is the best brains available to help to bring up the youths in the place not whether he comes from there or not. It is worrisome and I will say it is lack of faith; if you believe in God and do what is right, the correct thing will come up, not by our chosen but at God's own time.

But why is it that there has not been a Bini bishop just like they are agitating? There is a similar case in Mbaise, Imo State where the people said they want a bishop from their area.

"Well, we are trying to politicize something that is essentially spiritual. If you take the case of Mbaise for example, was a Bini man sent there to be the bishop? Or was he an Hausa man? Isn't it an Igbo man that was sent there? But they said no, they want a particular tribal or ethnic origin of the person, it is lack of faith and that is why I said spiritual problems have to be tackled with spiritual forces and what is happening is a question of lack of faith. If they have faith, they will not be agitating. If we accepted somebody who is from Ireland, or from England to be a bishop, why will you say you don't want a fellow Nigerian as bishop? Don't you see that something is wrong somewhere?

The way forward

I was active as a bishop in Benin Archdiocese. At that time, the archdiocese encompassed the whole of Edo State. Each time I wanted to translate the mass into Bini language, I had only one Benin priest who was able to assist me in the translation, all those who are complaining, some of them cannot read and write Bini language. And that is why I laugh each time they try to politicize church activities.

Shouldn't the Church train more Bini priests for this purpose?

"The Church will if you find the candidates. If the candidates are not there, will I come and take your child and make him go and speak Bini? But the Church has always trained Binis who are interested in priesthood and we will continue to do that.

What do you say about the Edo Liturgical Group that is championing this cause?

In the Catholic Church, it is the bishop of a place that is the head of the liturgy. Liturgy means public worship, so the bishop is ultimately responsible for the liturgy in the Church. Who appointed them as Edo Liturgical Group or who authorized them? Such people have no basis to arrogate to themselves a position they do not have. They do not know the principles of what they claim to represent. Who guides them?

The Church is also facing the issue of gay marriage. How do you react to that?

We all are responsible for the development and better enlightenment of our citizens because we are throwing our culture away; if you are a biologist, have you ever heard where a male cow is going after a male cow or a male camel going after a male camel? If we saw a lot of that practice, then we might say it is natural for a man to do that, but you know that the issue of procreation is such that it is social, it is the environment that affects people's behaviour and if the social environment encourages what you are doing, or promotes it, then one easily falls into but if it does not, then it will not develop.

"Boko Haram

Even if you remove Christianity, does the African culture promote the killing of your neighbor just because you disagree? What are they using to kill these Christians? Is it their own manufactured ammunition or those manufactured by the very Europeans you said you don't want their culture? The dresses they wear, where are they from? The food they eat, what is it served on? Is it not got from western civilization? They are not sincere and they have no love for their fellow Nigerians. And their actions being politically motivated cannot be eliminated. What they are doing is evil and is inexcusable.

Are you satisfied with the Federal Government's handling of the situation?

The security situation in the country could have been better managed but, as it is said, who is government? You and I are the people who elected those representing us and managing the government, therefore, to some extent, we the populace are also liable for the defects we see in government because when elections comes, somebody comes and gives you money and you take and go to vote for him, you forget your future and the future of your children and children's children. Who is to blame? Is it just those hungry for power or those of us who accept bribes to vote for them?

We are all liable and co-responsible for whatever deficiencies we may notice in society. I think Nigerians should seek more of their fellow Nigerians and of their future and therefore be circumspect in whom they vote into power to represent them. Again talking about governance, government should have the political will to put the right persons in the right positions. If somebody is found wanting in any of the sectors, send the person packing and put the right person there.

What is your view on the growing acquisition of private jets by pastors in Nigeria?

If they bought private jets, how did they come about the money? Félix Houphouët-Boigny built a basilica. I remember visiting Abidjan and from there I went to Yamoussoukro. It was the Nigerian ambassador to Cote D'Ivoire who told us that the man built the basilica from the resources of his family, that his father had a large expanse of land and that they had a lot of cocoa from which they made their wealth. But an outsider will say that he used government money to build it.

So if that pastor had also bought a private jet and used the resources of his family, you probably will say he has used his followers' money, but if indeed he uses his followers' money and his followers allow him, then they have endorsed what he is doing. It may not be a good example he is showing others, but he has not abused his position or somebody else's right. But if he uses the Church's resources, I will say he has some questions to answer to his worshipping community and his God whom he claims to serve. Churches are springing up every day in Nigeria, but they don't seem to be able to check corruption and immorality.

Why?

As you very well know, the Church does not have a police force, a CID or FBI or CIA; it is lack of commitment, lack of faith on the part of those who claim to be Christians or Church goers but really are not convinced or converted to the truth.

How do you see churches owning schools and tuition fees are beyond the reach of many members?

The easiest approach would have been that you give a peanut salary to the teachers and you know what will happen, they will not do their work, they will not be there; so if they are going to be retained and do an honest day's work, they have to be paid good salaries and since those churches or schools do not receive subvention from government, well, I don't know where you want them to get the money from to pay good salaries to the teachers."So where does that leave the children of the poor who are members of that church?"If there are really deserving ones, you give them scholarship. And how do you know they are not giving them scholarship?

Even the Federal Government, with all the oil money and all the taxes it collects, has it been able to give scholarship to every citizen? It is not done anywhere, nowhere, as they say in America, there is no free lunch; somebody pays for it. In Nigeria, we want every problem solved, but, as Christ himself said, the poor will always be with you, you cannot be able to answer all the needs of all the poor people in the world at once, it has to be gradual and the more people they train, people are more conscious of the defects of their neighbors and those followers will be able to take care of some of them and the Church takes care of the rest and the government with its social welfare programmes takes care of the others.

Marriage for Catholic priests

The position of the Church is that if you want to be a Catholic priest in the Western right, you do not get married, so, before you become a priest, you have a long time to think about it, whether you want to make the sacrifice or not. It is a sacrifice, not God's law. Therefore, we should adhere to the tradition and discipline of the Church. If you know you cannot adhere to the rules, you have a choice to go into other vocations. But the rule of the Church remains the rule."

If you had not been a priest, what would you have been?

I would have liked to be a lawyer and an administrator. That is what appealed to me, that is a profession you have to be free, even your parents have no right to decide for you what you have to do, they can advise but the ultimate decision lies with you. I felt God was calling me to be a priest and that is where I can make my own contribution to God's glory and work out my own salvation. And I have no regrets being a priest today.

What have been your most challenging and happiest moments?

Challenging moment will be when you find the people or leadership cadre that you have prepared disappointing you and following a course that is contrary to what you have prepared them to handle. One of my happiest moments was when I ordained 14 priests at a time at the University of Benin chapel in October 2, 1998. If you look at all the Nigerian priests in Archdiocese of Benin City, Father Patrick Osinbor and Theophilus Uwaifo are the only ones that I did not ordain and train, any other one, by the grace of God, passed through my hands.

It was very difficult because I had to look for money to pay their fees and then it came to a time that, in the seminary in Bodija, Ibadan, I had over a hundred students whom I had to pay for and it was by no means easy. I tried to harness all the resources available and appealed to friends and members of the Church who understood what my goal was and they assisted. ASUU strike"I would humbly request them to sit down and talk over their different problems and when decisions are reached, they should be followed. Government should honour agreements they reached with ASUU.

How do you assess Oshiomhole's administration in Edo State?

I hear many people praise him, I think he is a sincere man, he had been on the other side of government, he was a labour leader and therefore knows the problems of the workers and I think he tries to respond to them. He is doing very well, people are not disappointed.

Message to Nigerians I say let us take some moments off and think about what we think is best for us and how we, together with government, can move the nation forward. For the Catholics, I want them to go back to the basics, renew their faith in God, be loyal to God and be sincere in truth and in spirit to follow our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Signs of end Time: Meet Holy Prophet Blessed Dike Who Serves God But Passionately ‘Hates’ Jesus

According to Prophet Blessed Dike, the general overseer and self-styled seer of the church, God revealed the name of the church to him while in a trance.
And here are some of the weird practices carried out in his church.

As you step into this place of worship, you are confronted with the sight of a spot on the right that will make you conclude that you may have strayed into a slaughterhouse.An evangelist at the church explained that the spot is called the ‘Earth Altar’ and that it’s where different types of sacrifices are offered unto God.

There are two types of sacrifices offered in ‘As God Said It Must Be Done, the Temple of The Most High God’.

There is the sacrifice of atonement, which is offered when seeking forgiveness of sins from God. In carrying out the sacrifice, the prophet slaughters whatever animal the member provides at the ‘Earth Altar’ and ‘forgiveness’ is obtained from God after the prophet has prayed and blessed the person.

There is also the sacrifice of thanksgiving offered when a member wants to thank God for a favour granted him by God. The type of animal used for this type of sacrifice may vary based on individual needs. “You can bring a cow, a ram, a goat, a chicken or even a dove,” another female member of the church said.Besides the ‘Earth Altar’, the church also has a place called the ‘Holy of Holies.’

A worker in the church, Mr. Isaiah Anyaehie explains that the ‘Holy of Holies’ was put up as a replica of the ark of God built by Moses in the Old Testament.

Like the pool of Bethesda in the Bible, members believe that anytime you are sick and you climb into the ‘Holy of Holies’, you would instantly receive your healing. Also when you want to receive forgiveness of sins and other requests from God.

“We have access to the ‘Holy of Holies’ anytime there is a special programme in the church. When you ascend into the ‘Holy of Holies’, you would be healed of whatever ailment you have and whatever you ask God for, He would do it for you,” another member said.

God used the blood to wipe out the sins of Adam and Eve. We offer sacrifices because that is what God commands. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and other great men in the Bible offered sacrifices.

2. The entire church premises is painted in red and white and members of this church are expected to wear red or white attires every first and last Sunday of the month.On the floor of the auditorium, there are straight red lines drawn across the floor. A female member explained that the red lines are Angels’ pathways. She said:

God revealed to Daddy to make those pathways because angels usually visit the church,”

3. A woman who is in her monthly cycle is not allowed to enter into the temple; else, she may be visited by God’s wrath.Prophet Dike said:

“It’s a sin for a woman to come into the church while she is observing her menstrual flow. It is a very terrible thing. No woman has the right to come into the presence of God while she is menstruating.”

4.Despite his weird doctrines, Prophet Dike is very hospitable albeit in a way that one may describe as shocking.As soon as visitors to the church among whom was this reporter stepped into the auditorium, he instructs his workers to bring them refreshments.

This consists of two cartons of canned Guinness, popularly known as small stout.

While you are yet to overcome the shock of seeing a prophet of God serve alcoholic drinks in the church, he further instructs that some bottles of whisky be brought to entertain his guests.

Seeing the surprise on the faces of his visitors, he immediately explained the reasons for his actions.

There is nothing like alcohol or strong drink in the bible, so where did you get that from?

In Deuteronomy 14 verse 26, God says, “You shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires, for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires, you shall eat there before the Lord your God and you shall rejoice, you and your household.

God told us to spend our income on what we want. If a man calls himself a man of God and he doesn’t have money, the anointing would turn to annoyance. It is better that you drink in the House of God than to go to a public place and misbehave.
Before the prophet was through with attending to his visitors, he had gulped two bottles of small stout.

“Are you not afraid of going to hell” this reporter queries the prophet. Then he laughs hysterically and said:

It is unfortunate that you have been taught the wrong doctrine from the time you were little. Who told you that hell exists? Heaven and hell do not exist. Can a spirit judge a spirit?

There is nothing like heaven or hell. They don’t exist. All the punishment is here on earth. If a man cannot feed himself and his family, he is living in hell. If he cannot pay his house rent and cannot afford to buy a car for himself, he is living in hell. When your mates are enjoying life and you cannot enjoy it, you are living in hell.

“If you are suffering, it means that God is punishing you for something you have done, so there is no hell anywhere. When a man dies, that is the end. He does not go anywhere and God does not judge him. In Mark 12, verses 18 to 27, it is written there that “God is not the God of the dead but of the living.
“So what death are we talking about?

If you are living well and you are enjoying your life, you are living in heaven. People like Aliko Dangote, Adenuga, Otedola, Obasanjo and other rich men are living in heaven already. In the Bible, it is written that it’s God’s wish that we live in health and prosper even as our soul prospers.”

5. Reflecting on how he came into the ministry as well as his early encounter with the “holy spirit”, Prophet Dike hinted:

From my tender age, I used to steal a lot. Wherever any person kept money, I would steal it, even if I was not there when the money was being kept. You may have money in your pocket and you would not know when I would take it.

I remember when my father used to hide his money in the spring bed in his room. Though I wasn’t around when he kept it, but the spirit of God would lead me to where the money was and I would just go straight to the room and to the exact spot where he kept the money and steal it. I did not know that it was the hand of God that was at work in me.

This thing continued and because of that, my father sent me to Benin after my primary education. I went there but I continued having the same problems until I finally came to Lagos. It was while I was in Lagos that Jesus appeared to me and gave me the message from God.

On April 14, 2001 by 7am, I was approaching Omole Phase 1 Estate when Jesus appeared to me in the form of a young man. I remember that I had a cigarette in my mouth and I thought that the odour of the smoke would offend him .He told me “Son, my father is calling you”.

I had this encounter three times. In one of such encounters, Jesus came to my shop where I was a panel beater and told me, ‘Son, my father has need for you. The time for panel beating is up, now is the time to panel beat your children. Father said you are too stubborn, but if you think you are stubborn, He’s more stubborn than you.’

After He said that, He disappeared and I didn’t see him again. I still did not obey. I went from one shop to the other but it was one misfortune after the other. At a time, my shop got burnt and that was when I decided to obey God’s instruction. That is why till date, no one can come out and say he shepherded me. I do not have any human mentor; it’s God that is my mentor. He speaks to me all the time and when I need anything, I go to Him for advice. No man can say he ordained me. It was God that ordained me.”

People can call me names. Some may say I am an antichrist. Others may say I am Ogboni, but I do not care. My calling was foretold in the Bible.

The book of Isaiah 42 verses 1-2, says “Keep silent before me, oh Islands and let the people renew their strength. Let them speak; let them come near and let them speak; let us come near together to judgment. Who raised up the righteous man from the east, called him to his foot, gave the nations before him, and made him rule over kings? He gave them as the dust to his sword and as driven stubble to his blow.” The man from the East that God was referring to is me,” Prophet Dike boasted and added that:

“On October 28, 2012, I met with God in the Garden of Eden.

In that revelation, Oyedepo was there, Adeboye was there, Okonkwo was there, Pope John Paul was there and so many other pastors.
While we were meeting, God was very angry and told me to drive them away , because they were not doing His will and they were encouraging people to worship Jesus instead of God.

Four months after that, the Pope died. God raised me to test people to know whether they are obeying the law of God or the law of men.

There is nothing like the trinity. What we have is God, the Word and the Spirit. And those are the three witnesses.” More curious to know why some of their doctrines negate what is written in the Bible, especially in the New Testament, Prophet Dike said “the New Testament is the mind of man but the Old Testament is the mind of God.

In the Old Testament, God spoke directly to the prophets and they wrote down what He said, but in the New Testament, the disciples only wrote their minds.

For instance, there is nothing like being born again because God can never be born again.

One of the cardinal points of Christianity is the belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God, and that he died for the sins of the world and rose again. Prophet Dike is furious over these assertions.

Jesus was just a servant and not God. He has finished his duty on earth the same way other prophets finished their calling.

Any Christian that leaves God and starts giving glory to Jesus should be ashamed. Jesus can never be God. He is not the savior and he did not die for anyone. Anyone that tells you that Jesus is the son of God is a fraud and is not of God. Do the Muslims worship Mohammed? No. They worship only God, but you see Christians worshiping Jesus and even equating him with God.

In the book of Deuteronomy, God says he is the only one that should be worshiped and that we should not bow down to any image. So why do people worship Jesus when he is just a prophet? He did not die for anybody’s sins. He died just like any other human being. If he died for you, why are many people still afraid to go to their villages? If you say that Jesus is the only son of God, then what was Adam? Was he not also a son?

When Adam who was made in the image of God could not save you, then who is Jesus to save you? I don’t want to hear the name of Jesus because he is not God and has never been God.

God is very angry with Nigeria because they have taken His glory and given it to a mortal man. Why we have this high level insecurity is because of God’s wrath.”

Sources sought to know from some members why they attend the church and if they are not skeptical of the doctrines propagated by the prophet.

The leader of the men’s fellowship in the church, Mr. Richard Onyekachukwu said that he would continue attending the church because God used the prophet to raise him from the dead.

His wife, Esther confirmed his claim. According to her:

My husband was admitted at LASUTH (Lagos State University Teaching Hospital) for what started as fever. The situation gradually worsened and he eventually died.

Doctors had certified him dead and his brothers had started making plans to take him to the village for burial. But when I called the prophet, without seeing my husband, he prayed for him and he came back to life.”

Spirits go by many names; even God and satan are identified by numerous names and titles in the Bible. Night demons are no more than spirits of  lust. They are a powerful, high-ranking class of demons.

DO THEY REALLY EXIST?
Maybe you are wondering how it is possible for demon spirits to have intercourse with humans. Throughout the Bible there is plenty of evidence that spirits can take on some type of physical form and function as such. In the book of Genesis chapter 6 it reads, “1And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.”  This means in laymen’s terms that demon spirits had sex with human women. Satan, who is a spirit, took on the physical form of a serpent and spoke to Eve (Rev 12:9, Gen 3:1-4). We see another case where God and some angels also took on physical forms and functioned as human beings. If you read in Genesis, all of chapter 18 and chapter 19 through verses 23 (I suggest the New Living Translation for better understanding) you will find proof of this. In the text, The Lord and two angels manifest themselves as human beings. They actually talk, eat, rest, walk, have their feet washed and even sleep. This is proof that spirits can manifest themselves in physical form. There are other scriptures that make reference to this point as well. So there is no need to be mystified by these spirits; there is no question in my mind as to whether or not these spirits do indeed exist. As a matter-of-fact, I know by virtue of my own personal experience that they do exist. The encounters that people share about sex demons are actual experiences, as opposed to schizophrenic episodes which is how doctors try de-validating these experiences.

Whether or not you are being attacked by these spirits is usually pretty obvious. They manifest themselves to your conscious mind and cause you to experience all of the stimulation and physical feelings that take place during intercourse or sexual contact with a physical person. People are sometimes mystified by these spirits. The demons most often reveal themselves to people during the night-time hours, but can manifest themselves at any time of the day. Many people claim to actually see spirit bodies that come and subject them to various sexual acts. These spirits are often violent and will attack you – beating, choking and restraining you. They may even disturb things in your home and break things. Think of them as you would an extremely abusive sex partner or rapist and you will start to get a picture of what these spirits are all about.

Another effect these spirits have on people is causing overwhelming sexual urges in the body. You will know that you are being attacked by demons if the sexual urges are so strong that they completely take over your mind. This can happen at any time but tend to be most common when you are lying down. You cannot think about anything else and it seems like nothing you do to make the urges go away work (i.e. a cold shower, involving yourself in another activity, shifting positions, etc.). It would seem that the only relief for the urge is to have an orgasm by any means necessary. Sometimes you will have the orgasm spontaneously and they are usually stronger than usual. If you have these types of urges THEY ARE NOT NORMAL.

Now please understand that I am not saying that every powerful sexual urge in the body is due to a demonic manifestation. Strong sexual urges can be purely hormonal; or just good old-fashioned arousal at the thought of enjoying intercourse with your lover. When sexual urges come on suddenly without warning; at times that seem inappropriate; or without any external stimuli; and you simply cannot control them without having an intense battle, that is when you know they are demonic.

This class of demon is also responsible for sex dreams: those are dreams during which you are engaged in sexual contact or intercourse, or dreams in which your body has a spontaneous orgasm.  And one much less obvious manifestation is nightmares – realistic, graphic, heart-stopping nightmares that rob you of sleep and make you awake frightened.

WHAT IS THEIR PURPOSE?
Looking at Genesis 6 once again we learn that the assignment of these demons is to impregnate you, “4In those days, and even afterward, giants lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with human women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes mentioned in legends of old.” In this scripture we learn that when these demons had sex with these women that the women became pregnant and gave birth to abnormal children – perversions of nature. Incubus and Succubus are the same class of demon that operated in those times, only now they are looking to impregnate you with spiritual perversion.

Once the spirits get you sexually aroused or subdue you through violence, you let your conscious guards and defenses down. They are then able to plant their evils in your subconscious mind, where it will go unnoticed for a long time, while actively causing major damage. It is similar to how a woman who is enjoying intercourse completely gives herself to the man and allows him to plant in her anything that comes out of him. Or even how a girl who is being molested, gives herself over to the control of the molester.
Once his seed is inside, she does not know where it goes or what it does, but it could be actively changing her in major ways. She may have conceived or even contracted an STD, but she will not know it for quite some time.

Just as your natural body is fatigued after intercourse, an encounter with an incubus or succubus spirit will usually leave you feeling emotionally and spiritually drained, because they steal virtue from you. In place of what they steal, they impregnate you with their seeds of perversion and lust. Remembering again the analogy of the abusive boyfriend or rapist, know that these spirits want to control you, subdue and make you feel worthless. Although they are skilled at causing extreme sexual pleasure, they make you feel miserable in every other way. The ecstasy that you experience with these spirits is usually exceedingly more intense that natural sex and is highly addictive. This induces guilt because of the pleasure your body experiences, lowering your resistance even more.

The purpose of them causing nightmares is to impregnate you with fear, therefore perverting your faith. One reason for this is that fear induces a desire to seek out comfort. Sexual activity, especially sexual fantasy and masturbation, bring about a temporary sense of false comfort. Therefore, by inducing fear these lust demons cause you to be that much more likely to commit sexually perverse acts. But even more so than that, without faith it is impossible to please God. Which means to pervert your faith is to literally undermine your entire relationship with God and purpose for living. If it is true that all things are possible to them that believe, then the opposite is also true. Without faith we cannot believe anything, which means we cannot accomplish anything because nothing is possible to us in our subconscious minds.

 People that are afflicted by these spirits will experience a tremendous amount of failure and may even feel “cursed” with bad luck. It is not bad luck – it is simply that your belief system has been perverted.

WHERE DO THEY COME FROM?
Remember, my main point is that night demons are simply spirits of sexual lust. So bearing that in mind, let’s consider what lust really is.
1. Lust is a desire for illegal pleasure.
2. Lust is the willingness to meet a natural and legal need or desire in an illicit or sinful way.
For example, to eat is a need for every human being; but to fulfill that need through gluttony (overeating) is lust. To want nice things is a natural desire; but to be willing to meet that desire through dishonesty and trickery is lust. There is nothing sinful about our natural God-given sexual urges; but to fulfill those urges through masturbation and/or sexual perversion is lust. So bottom line – LUST IS SIN – and - SIN IS DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD’S LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

This is what most people miss in the struggle for deliverance from night demons. There is some open door of disobedience in your life if these spirits are still able to afflict your body. Now for some people, to refer to these sexual lust demons as an “especially named spirit” draws the person into a “victim mindset”. There are so many people who love to be the victim. They don’t want to participate in their deliverance. They just want to continue to feel sorry for themselves and want you to feel sorry for them too: “Oh these big, ol’ bad incubus spirits rape me every night…” I’m not saying everyone, but a lot of people who approach me about night demons are this way.

Truth be told though, no spirit can “rape” you unless you give them access to your body. Unless you are literally in-dwelt by a demon, no demon can access your physical body unless you allow it to. The open door may not have anything to do with sexuality at all. Any type of disobedience can give demons access to your body for its use.

For people who are actively and willfully living in sexual sin, the open door is apparent. It’s the people who are doing what they believe to be right before the Lord but are yet still struggling with these spirits that are the most perplexed. They don’t understand why their tactics for deliverance are not working.

Well please understand that the bible says, “All that is in the world is the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life.” The term “world” in this scripture means “the sin nature of the flesh and the carnal life as being separated from submission to God’s Holy Spirit and His Will”: This is lust, this is sin, and this is disobedience to God. Even if one does not act on a lustful desire, you have still sinned just if the desire is in your heart. This of course doesn’t mean just a fleeting thought of sin, but it means that somewhere in your heart you desire and are willing to carry out a sinful act – you gave it “thoughtful consideration”.

If you are truly serious about getting delivered from night demons then you are going to have to take accountability for not being in your place of authority over these spirits and allowing them access to you through your actions. You have to be willing to really examine your hearts and your lifestyle in the light of God’s truth, and find that open door. Then slam that door shut for good and be free indeed in the freedom of Christ Yeshua (Jesus)!!! Let me help you by listing for you these common, but often overlooked and not understood, doors for night demons.


Fornication - Fornication is a word that can cover any type or act of perversion including adultery, incest, homosexuality, etc… You relinquish your authority over sexual lust when you willfully involve yourself with sexual perversion.

Masturbation - Masturbation is particularly inviting when it comes to the invasion of night demons because through masturbation you sin against your own body and subject it to evil. You become a slave to sin through masturbation.

Pornography - Pornography is also particularly damaging when it comes to these attacks. Pornography is an act that specifically aims to contaminate your mind. The reason that these spirits come primarily at night is because our conscious minds shut down when we are tired and when we are sleeping. It thus leaves us vulnerable to their control and weakens our resistance to evil. Whatever we fill our minds with during our waking hours is what will reign over us while we sleep!

Unforgiveness/Bitterness - Unforgiveness cuts you off from God’s grace and therefore His ultimate protection. Bitterness gives access to every demon of hell to invade your temple and your life!

Carnality - Spending too much time doing non-spiritual activities — even if those activities are not sinful. Any activity that does not purposefully and deliberately build and edify your spirit in the things of God is carnal activity. Remember, we are vulnerable in our minds during the night hours or times of fatigue. That is when we must totally rely on the strength of our spirit man to keep us from evil. If we don’t build our spirit man up then it will not be strong enough to yield to the Holy Spirit and access His empowerment.

Fear/Doubt - Having fear and doubt in your life opens the door to these spirits because they thrive on fear and aim to increase fear in your life. They want you to be afraid because fear paralyzes you and robs you of your faith, which ultimately robs you of your relationship with God and your purpose.

Witchcraft - The Bible says that rebellion is as witchcraft. Rebellion is another word for Disobedience, so in all simplicity witchcraft is to go against God’s way to do it your own way. There are many manifestations of witchcraft that are overlooked such as - astrology, superstitions, chain letters, etc… An especially common but overlooked form of witchcraft is manipulation; manipulating our children and spouses and others that are close to us is so common and it leaves the door open for night demons to attack!

Molestation - Being molested open doors in three ways. First, it often attaches spirits of perversion to the victim. Secondly, it subjects the victim to a mindset of victimization. In other words, you constantly see yourself as a victim. Remember night demons are sexual aggressors and they want you to feel victimized. Thirdly, molestation is another doorway to fear in your life.

Abuse – Remember that these spirits are likened to abusive spouses and rapists, meaning that be a victim of domestic abuse can definitely introduce these spirits into your life.  An abusive situation is a very comfortable environment for such demons.

Emotional Wounds - I say again that these demons are taking advantage of weaknesses. Being wounded leaves us weak and therefore leaves us vulnerable to these attacks. That is why it is so important to be healed.

Soul Ties - If you are soul tied to someone, or something, or some place; that causes you to be spiritually weak, or that is subject to sexual perversion or fear; you have now created an open door for night demons. I’ll have to do an article on soul ties, but for now let me just say that when your soul is tied there is easy transfer to and from the thing that you are tied to.

Spiritual Warfare - The last thing that The Holy Spirit revealed to me is about spiritual warfare. Bearing in mind once again that night demons take advantage of the vulnerability that is a factor when we are sleeping, you have to remember that spiritual warfare causes spiritual weakness. We must be properly replenished in Word and in Worship after engaging in spiritual warfare – this is especially the case when we are warring specifically against spirits of sexual perversion!

 HOW DO YOU GET DELIVERED?
Some people think it is fun to be visited by these demons, while enjoying the intense sexual pleasure that they give you. They are very skilled at causing you to feel ecstasy. They are very dangerous though and the consequences of an encounter with them can be utterly detrimental to you spiritually, mentally and emotionally.

It is important to remember that one of the first keys to deliverance from anything is understanding your enemy! As I prayed and studied, not for deliverance but for understanding of my enemy, that is when I finally was able to receive the revelation of what I must do in order to get total deliverance. Whether the incubus/succubus spirit is “inside of you”, or oppressing you from without is not a major factor in how to go about deliverance. The process is still the same, although it may be a bit more intense and drawn out for someone who has many of these spirits, and/or for someone who is literally “inhabited” by them.
Remembering that the purpose of an incubus/succubus spirit is to impregnate you, the main key to deliverance is to abort and/or kill that which they have successfully planted in you.

The casting out or sending away of these spirits will do nothing to tear down the strongholds that they have successfully built in your life! Therefore, after casting out/binding/rebuking/renouncing/sending away the spirits — do the same to all their offspring and seeds.

Sex demons want to impregnate you with fear which will pervert your faith. They want to impregnate you with lust which will cause you to desire evil things to satisfy and fulfill your soul. They want to impregnate you with different spirits of perversion, especially those of a sexual nature, so you will help their cause by committing sexually perverse acts with others and transfer their seeds. Lastly, they want to impregnate you with rebellion which will lead to an interest in all forms of witchcraft. First it will be the more subtle forms – like manipulation for “good” reasons, horoscopes, and superstitions.

It will then escalate to more moderate forms – palm readings, communicating with stars, and good luck charms and trinkets. Finally it will develop into full-fledged satanism – communicating with the dead, calling for assistance from demon spirits and so much more. The assignment of every demon ultimately, is to completely disconnect you from Yahweh God and see you eternally damned!

So here are the steps to deliverance:
1) You must renounce not only the incubus and succubus spirits that have entered into your life, but you must renounce their works. You need to verbally destroy and renounce and murder everything that they have conceived within you and caused you to give birth to. If you fail to do this they will always have access to you.

2) Depending on your level of bondage and what you are involved in sexually, it may take some time and effort to get complete deliverance. It is likely that after step 1 you will have other encounters. If you do have an encounter with a night demon – IMMEDIATELY ABORT WHAT THEY HAVE PLANTED YOU. Think of it as taking a “morning after pill”.

3) DON’T EVER LET AN ATTACK CARRY ON WITHOUT CHALLENGING THE SPIRITS! When an attack begins, say verbally and out loud something like, “I know what you are and what you are here for and I renounce you in Jesus name! My body does not belong to you. It is the temple of the Holy Spirit and I command you to leave me right now in Jesus name! I do not receive your seed into me and will not give birth to your offspring of evil!” As long as you don’t have any obvious open doors in your life, this will usually immediately bring under subjection any assault that takes place while you are awake. This includes those incredibly overwhelming sexual urges that come over you and cause you to have spontaneous orgasms or commit an act of perversion such as masturbation, pornography, or fornication.

As a side note to this step, sexual urges that are not demonic, a simple “mind over matter” approach is sufficient – think about something else, or involve yourself in an activity that requires you to concentrate on what you’re doing. Also, don’t kid yourself! Don’t expect this to work if you are still willfully watching pornography, horror films, listening to sex filled secular music, watching soap operas, reading horoscopes, etc… Demons don’t like to be challenged, they are seeking rest. You offer no challenge to them if you live a willfully carnal and sinful lifestyle — you become a place of rest for them and they ain’t leaving (slang intended)!

4) For those attacks that occur while you are sleeping, renounce these spirits before you lay down and purpose in your subconscious mind to wake up if you start to have a sex dream or nightmare. When you wake up, IMMEDIATELY ABORT ANYTHING THAT THEY MAY HAVE PLANTED IN YOU! This is so important. You cannot let their seeds grow in you. KILL THE SEED! And DO NOT REPEAT what you have dreamed about to at all (unless briefly when in a counseling situation)!!! They want you to speak it out because the power of life is in your tongue. Speaking it out gives birth to it. The words you say after an encounter can either give life to their seed, or bring death to their seed and that is why usually your first unction is to tell someone about it. Furthermore, don’t rehearse the dream in your mind. Cast down the very thought of it from your conscious and subconscious mind. This is so important (and remember this applies to nightmares too).

5) IT IS VERY, VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CONSECRATE YOURSELF!!! Every spirit must be cast out of your life and every door closed as much as you are capable of doing. That means that you do not willfully involve yourself in anything at all that is sinful or ungodly. When you do fall or make a mistake, you must repent and get up quickly. Not that you will be perfect — no one is — but every sinful and carnal area of your life must be challenged to the max! This is especially true when you are in the midst of a deliverance process. That means that you should commit to fasting and praying, but also omit every evil influence from your life — people, places, things, habits and ESPECIALLY the MEDIA.

6) Get and study the books, “STDs: Sexually Transmitted Demons”, and “The Spirits of Sexual Perversion Handbook”. If you are experiencing these attacks, it makes it apparent that you do not have a full understanding of sexual perversion and how to walk in total deliverance. Remember that any weakness in your life will invite these spirits in to attack. You need to have a complete and full understanding of sexual intimacy, sexual activity, and sexual perversion – what it is, the purpose for it, and the remedy. You will learn this in these two books. No sexual stronghold will be able to stand in your life once you learn and apply the principles in these two books. Furthermore, understanding these teachings will help you develop your intimate relationship with God and strengthen all of your relationships.



7) Lastly I remind you once again that incubus/succubus are lust demons. Lust is a force that is ever-present in the earth realm and therefore is not something that you can say, “I will never face this again.” Everyone is subject to the temptations and pressures of lust because it is the passion of satan’s heart, and he is the prince of the world. Not everyone will fall victim, but everyone is subject! Even after you are delivered, anytime that you are spiritually weak it is possible – not likely, but possible – for you to have an encounter with a night demon. If this does happen once you are delivered, just remember to implement the steps above and watch your level of consecration always. You especially want to be mindful of the media that you expose yourself to, the people who you are around and any subtle forms of witchcraft that may be in your life (like horoscopes or manipulation).
